I agree, though it sounds like it's not HP's fault
rather Fidelity Investments, but you're right. FI is a big enough company, and considering what they do as a business, you would think that they would be a bit overzelous when it comes to security.

As for the "property focus", thats all well and fine as the earlier missing laptops may have had nothing of any real value to anyone other then some engineer across the country. Turn on this one and discover that you have names and address, SS numbers, the works, and suddenly a whole new avenue of proffit appears. You now how something the sleazy guys around the corner will pay for...
