It's in the money.
Microsoft spends lots to hire the very best in the world. Amd (I assume) follows the same general path. Setting aside politics and bad breath. It can be well speculated that whatever it is they are into to doing, they are in a position to making it happen. Hence the money. How do you argue with the best in what they do, on the whole planet and still make a point worth mentioning. I like to at least belive that they are intellegent enough to know its in thier best intrest to look out after thier product and customers.
