In an article today, ZDNET conveyedt the latest big head idea of BG to abolish passwords as a cure to the security woes. In this article another idiotic worm started spreading and caused the DoS.

I agree that security starts from all the common sense practices. But doing this with MS s/w requires you to have a huge crew of grunt admin workers that need to work full time on patching concerns only.
