I'm Through Preaching
I for one have told and told people about how
insecure certain platforms are compared with many
others. I have even set up demonstrations of
these platforms. However most people remain
unconvinced. I have even offered to set up dual
boot option for those who must for one reason or
another have to use the less secure platform.
What usually happens is that the users only boot
up into the less secure platform to do
everything.

I like you am tired of all the preaching. It
does little good. Those of us who use a more
secure platform for Internet use have not had to
worry about the the millions of bit of malware
out there. I say the same thing again and again
when I have to remove yet more malware from
infected computers using the insecure platform -
"75 dollars please."

I already tried to help people for no cost, but
for most people, that option does not work. The
only thing they understand is money, and only
when using a computer costs enough to threaten
closure or bankrupcy will people consider
alternative platforms.
