Visa warns software may store customer data

Visa Debit Cards

I just received notification from my bank this week that my card was one of those affected by this breach of security. They have issued me a new card and I am to destroy the old one but if this threat is still out there what will prevent the same thing from happening to my new card? Who knows...I think from now on I'll just write a check or go by the ATM before heading out to shop!
