Vista can be hacked.

Unlike XP, Vista will run by default with fewer user privileges. People will have to invoke full, "administrator," privileges to perform tasks such as installing an application.

Some people (power users) may not like the idea of inputing the admin password or constatntly switching to admin mode to do such tasks. They'll login as admin to bypass that problem.

Also, Internet Explorer 7, included with Vista, will prevent silent installs of malicious code by stopping the browser from writing data anywhere except in a temporary files folder without first seeking permission.
I've seen programs that still install from temp folders regardles of "permissions". Fortunately, my firewall alerted me to that tatic, even though it was for installs I initiated and approved.

Microsoft's Wilson predicts a rise in phishing attacks, which seek to dupe users into giving up personal information by using fraudulent e-mail messages and Web sites.
Unfortunately, there's no patch, no OS, or no account with low enough privledges that will stop hax0rs from exploiting the biggest hole in the system: The one between the keyboard and chair.
