It's a sense of balance
The lame folk who criticize Mr. Bill's judgement and motives are forever doomed to be coming in last. If people don't want security and want functions, who is the bigger fool? Novell offers security, you say, and they lose because people didn't care. Microsoft won because they supplied what was wanted. Now the people want more security and they are getting it, just on time.

That's balance, my good man, and not to be dismissed. Too early or too late, you just miss the boat.
