What prevents snooping with speedpasses?
An RFID device needs a source of power.
My debit card is just a uniformly flat piece of plastic. It may have an embeded bar code thats read by a special laser scanner when tapped in the hot spot or the magnetic strip made be read from a distance .
Could it be read by someone in the crowed with a portable laser scanner? This techie stuff gets scarier and scarier. I think that I'll go back to cash.
