What prevents snooping with speedpasses?
If I understand the tech correctly, these things use something along the lines of RFID to transmit the card number to the merchant station, right? If so, isn't this vulnerable to someone making a snooping device sensitive enough to pick these up say in a crowded area?

Or is the information encrypted with a timestamp or something like that?
