Exactly. There exists an industry out there based on all the MS flaws, and too many people depend on it. I, too, make a good living fixing people's computers thanks to MS flaws. But that does not mean that I defend Windows, or recommend it. If possible, I recommend a Mac or Linux to users, and only propose Windows if there is a real lack of alternative software.

MS has discovered security, a bit late, thanks to the openness of the internet. 'Nix computers discovered security decades ago because they were built for large intranets long before the internet. But security is not in MS's blood the way it is in 'nix.
