No update facility?
"If such a vulnerability were to turn up in *Nix I wonder how fast an update could be ready to fix all their machines? Oh yeah, that's right ... they're all running different flavors - they HAVE no update facility."

I'm not sure where you get your information, but update facilities are quite common at least in Linux. I have Suse set to automatically check for and install any security patches on a daily basis. The only difference between Suse and my Windows machine is patches for 3rd party apps like Firefox are included in Suse as well.

The funny thing is, your post was all about others making themselves look foolish by making outragous claims on things they don't know about...
