My rep and I had a good laugh at these patches. First of all, none of the vulnerabilities are even serious. Second of all, if you are running the Windows Vista eXPerience and Office 12 like we are, the problems do not exist. My rep has saluted me in front of our CEO several times, congratulating me for my vision and convictions when I decided to start mandating my MCSEs and MCSDs spend all of their time on what I call "The Infinite Upgrade Cycle". I have mandated the formal upgrade of all Microsoft applications based on the latest CTP public builds as well as certain "private" builds my rep acquires for me. I suspended all vacations this summer, claiming this is the "Summer of Vista". My rep threw me a "refund" for some software we purchased and I am going to Hawaii while the MCSEs and MCSDs deploy.
