The difference between Windows and *nix
Five of the six vulnerabilities in Office are specific to Excel. The most serious flaws could allow an attacker to gain control over a vulnerable PC running the spreadsheet program, Microsoft said in Security Bulletin MS06-012.

A hole in the spreadsheet programs hands over control of the users entire machine. Which has been my biggest issue with MSFT security all along. An Excel sucurity issue that horks the entire freaking machine! Hello, McFly. Anyone home?

So, George, you can't just count flaws and make any meaningful comparison. But, you already knew that, didn't you? Just because you get paid to take a certain position doesn't mean you actually believe it yourself.
