Blindness?
Then I guess the whole amount of time it took to find and fix the WMF vulnerability(since Win3.1!) means quite a few of the guys at Redmond have vision problems. And while they're at it, they should improve the quality of their patches so they don't fix one problem and cause another:

At least with the GPG vulnerability, the fix was released quickly with no exploits to date, and without deliberate delaying. So I'd say OSS has 20/20 vision, but MS is showing signs of acute astigmatism. It's due time for them to get a checkup. happy
