Figures, I just "updated" yesterday!
Man. MS is such a comedy of errors. My WMP 9.0 on my home PC (win 2k) freezes every time I click on a WMV or ASF video stream.

Now I "may" have to deal with it on my laptop during my commute? I'm so tired of their cures being worse than the illness.

But, many of us are stuck with them and their smarmy "hey, you don't like it, use a different OS because we can afford to lose you" attitude when force feeding us their garbage.

Like webcoders the world over, I fight with my CSS code all day trying to make IE behave when displaying my web standards layout pages.

You mean to tell me they CAN'T make IE both web standard AND their quirky junk from their office apps generated "web pages"?

No ... they just WON'T.
Just to be contrary.
They are the French of software companies!
