More than you realize
I'm sitting here watching performance monitor of a customer rolling out a major .NET app and it's not looking good. Their web servers are hitting 60-70% cpu utilization and the sql server is peaking into 2000 batch reqs/sec with less than 10% of their users on board. Not good. Captain, she canna take much more!

Tried to tell them not to depend on .NET for big web apps but they just don't listen. Only allowing a week to beta with four users doesn't yield any usable load testing.

Fun watching those charts peg at the top of the scale and stay there. Nasty. Dribble like media player having a problem is nothing. That's like solitaire not working right. Oh, boo-hoo.
