I disagree with the facts reported
---Do you disagree with the facts as reported or do you view
any tech article which is less than uncritically enthusiastic over
OSX a pro-MS article?---

I disagree with the facts reported, or really, not reported.
Hackers were given their own local accounts on the machine in
question. This is not a challenge to find remote exploits, but
one of local exploits from people with a user account on a given
machine. Unless you're giving out accounts to strangers, it
shouldn't mean much to anyone about security.
