Other than those few problems, I am ready to start my career as a songwriting singer. Will you buy my album? Heck, I wouldn't buy my album.

You do realize that until 100 years ago, nobody made much money selling music. They only thing they had to sell was sheet music. If you couldn't play the piano, it wasn't much use to you. Even if you could play piano, they couldn't restrict when or where you could play it if you chose to memorize it. Nonetheless, music existed, didn't it? The only way the great masters of Western music made any money was by attracting rich patrons to commission their work. Few, if any, of them got rich from it, but they are considered the great musicians of our civilization. So there was a moment in time when one could get filthy rich making music. And then, it ended. Big deal! Music existed before, and it will exist after. Talent will find an audience somewhere.
