The scum bag leech Antivirus companies can take a hike.
Since the carrier charges for the service and controls the network access, the place to scan for viruses in at the network level. And, if anything was needed, on the phone, the manufacturer and carrier should provide it and integrate it with the network scanning. And, there is not a monoculture with phones, so problems are greatly reduced. The antivirus companies are trying to create a problem where there is none.
