Better yet
As an average computer user, we know that we should save a back up copy of our work on a different media (healthy habit).
I use a microchip called Pc Guard. Not a software based VMachine or any other.

We have that chip installed on our 12 computers at work, since May 2005, and haven't had any malicious code problem or misconfiguration on our systems ever since.

We use the internet with no restrictions, and open every attachment we want. We are protected, and our systems are not slowed down because we don't use any sofware based protection package.
