I can't really help but wonder how much of this smugness is
generated by hindsight, based on the article. I have seen the old
"How can or You would have to be ...." statements, but the
average user sees those tired old, 'password' and 'application'
messages from the OS over and over and over again. So much
so that an image or text file being called an app is going to slip
right by. It's sort of like all the signs and other things that are
posted at the work place, so many that new one get missed or
ignored.
Hummmm, I wonder, do those same smug folks re-read the
EULA each time also or do they just click the button.
