Re: whatever
The presence of crime makes it necessary for me to secure my posessions and otherwise takes steps to protect myself, my family, and my employer, but that does not mean that the state is not obliged to fight crime. After all, the primary responsibilities of the state are to provide for the common defense, keep the peace, and restrain criminal activity. These are independent of the responsibility of individuals to defend themselves. They are key aspects of the public interest that are impossible to adequately maintain without collective effort. Responsibility for them is traditionally given to government and rightly so.

The precautions that I and others have to take to secure our computers and networks are a direct result of criminal activity; to that extent, it's not just those who own "hacked" computers that are victims, but all who own or use computers.

She should be prosecuted and if convicted, she should be imprisoned.
