What now? Strip searches at the door?
It has become apparent to me that there is an ever-growing and strengthening drive to transform the workplace into a private police-state (perhaps to get people accustomed to living in a government one outside the workplace perhaps?) and I also believe that the corporates that are most paranoid about employee theft are also the ones who have the biggest A.Q. (A$$hole Quotient) toward their employees. In other words, the firms who treat their workers like sh*t are the ones who (rightly) have the most to be afraid of.

If this trend continues, I expect to see firms authorizing mass strip-searches of arriving and departing employees by off-duty US Air Marshals working for thugish private-security forces(although NOT the senior management types?Privileged Characters that they are). ?1984? is arriving?just a couple of decades later than Orwell forecast.
