I agree, but...
I agree. It is likely that a randomly sampled individual is more likely to recognize the word "iPod" than the other names. That is some what the cause of the potentially unbalanced conclusion that some one could reach from reading the article.

With the article in its current form a random person reading the article would only recognize the iPod as a device that could be used to search and copy files from a network.

The original article by Abe User (http://sharp-ideas.net/ideas/?p=16) is about using a Portable Storage Device in general to "Slurp." The iPod is mentioned as one of the portable storage devices that can be used as are PDAs and memory sticks.
