iPod getting a bad rap
Almost any PDA or USB storage device would work. Or a portable hard drive and a copy of Knoppix and you'd be right in business.

The janitor is a bigger threat to most companies data security than hackers. They have physical access. Sweetness. Leave me in an office with PC's and all your data be belonging to me.

You'd think companies never heard of TrueCrypt or PGP. I guess encryption is just too much trouble. It may be for routine documents but certainly an encrypted virtual disk for sensitive docs. Come on, how much time does it really take?

TrueCrypt has a nice feature where it can create hidden volumes inside a partition that looks like garbage data to anyone scanning it. Only you know it's even there. So you could give up the password to the main partition and the hidden partition is still your secret.
