Following the reasoning in the "Do Not Call" court decision that we have the right to place "No Solicitation" signs in our yards to keep solicitors out, and that this should also apply to our telephones, it should also apply to our email inboxes.

This can be easily done by requiring the first word in the SUBJECT to be ADVERTISING. Then it can be automaticaly deleted. The only problem with this idea is that it does nothing to stop the theft of bandwidth so it doesn't help the ISPs.
