This isn't a mistake, I'd say this was pretty accurate and Microsoft needn't fix it.

I wholeheartedly agree. SAV/NAV is a POS.

I found this quite amusing, however, for another reason. About 10 odd years ago, Norton AV would find the Word macro link written by GoldMine Software (Now Frontrange Solutions) to be of a viral nature. Of course, it wasn't. But it sure made a LOT of customers quite upset.

At the time Symantec owned rights to a competing product called ACT! and were in the process of turning a halfway decent app into a pile of worthless junk (as they've been known to do).

Bottom line, this isn't the first time this sort of thing happened, nor will it be the last. Be it innocent accident, or malicious backstabbing, it's hard to say.
