slander / liable or claim for damages ?
huh ? let me get this right. the company run by the worlds richest man decides that it wants to get into the 'security software business. the 'beta' version (released to the public with enough confidence to operate as designed - it would be better described as 'public' beta) identifies the leading security software package as 'spyware'. am i to believe that they did not test their product using a basic home use software configuration. how long will it take before people no longer remember that symantec was once considered spyware ? any bets to the outcome 10 years from now ?
