A trojan activated by a removal tool would be detected in the lab (hopefully before the tool is released wink .
I'm still not convinced this group is that crafty. If they could infect the kernel without moving it like opaserv while avoiding detection, the masking theory could be valid. But, again; I'm not ready to give them that much credit based on the previous bagle release.
If they are working for spammers, it will be interesting to see what the spam content looks like when they go into a final release and actually use these tools for sending. It seems like if they really try to cash in using these tools to launch spam, the companies sponsoring this activity are at risk of being revealed and prosecuted.
