I am trying deperately not to laugh
and failing miserably at it.
It's really very funny to watch ya'll talk back and forth about this crap, it really is.
You know I really don't care to have people listening into my converstaions but I very seriously doubt that they are really doing THAT.
Now I saw somewhere in this thread where somebody said that they would gladly die (and I'm probably misquoting so I will apologize but hopefully you get the gist of what I mean) than let the government tell them what to do or give up their freedoms.
Frocking grow up.
I also saw something about a goverment by the people....
Hello, who elected them? Martians?
And again don't give me that lesser of two evils crapola. Please! I know I have said it before and I will say it again....... there were other candidates there that were not part of the "major political parties" that could have been voted for. Just how many of you paid attention to them? and another thing..... If you think he should be doing something else or that the country be run a different way then why don't you try running for government yourself? I have heard it all abotu that one too. From you have to have been in politics before or have connections in politics to get elected. BS. Anything can be done with a little time and effort. There is strength in numbers. If you don't like the way things are run in this country or how the laws are written then get off of your 'arses' and do something about it. Quit whining and take some action for crying out loud. No one said changing the law or getting elected is easy and it shouldn't be. but if you want something done right (and I damn sure everyone has heard this) then you need to do it yourself.
I am no big fan of Butch.. crap Bush... but then again I did NOT vote for him. I do not like a lot of the things he has done but I will agree that at some point some of them have been necessary.
You may not like what he does, you may say that you would rather be blown up than give up your freedoms but you would probably ruin your underpants the moment a terrorist (or whatever) showed up on your doorstep and pointed a gun at your family. And then you would probably say that the president didn't do enough when the president gave in to your demands......
