The issue is not HOW its done, but what are the criteria that the white house uses to deem 'a person of interest' as an al qaeda terrorist.

Its not a partisan issue and its not an either or.
Partisan issue
High ranking Reublicans as well as Democrats (apparently Demo-creeps to you) are questioning the legality of the program.

Either or issue
We can have securoty AND protect or constitutional rights. We don't have to sacrifice our freedoms and our privacy in order to be safe. Get that through your thick Republican head.
