It does hold water
Apache isn't targeted that much and it isn't much of a market. It is free and money has to get exchanged to be considered a market. Also I think Apache is being over represented in majority of servers. There really is no way to tell unless they were recorded as a sale. I run FreeBSD on my server but it isn't considered a market. I downloaded it for free.

Another thing is the people running linux do not have a large marketshare. It isn't even worth going after and they tend to be commercial accounts with knowledgeable people administrating them. When linux finally goes mainstream for joe sixpack, there will be presents waiting for him.

Marketshare DOES count!
