From an article this morning about ISP charging Multi-billion dollar companies for hogging their bandwidth:
"Representatives from both sides testified Tuesday before the Senate Commerce Committee. Among the witnesses was Internet pioneer Vinton Cerf who now works for Google. In his statement to the panel, Cerf said that instead of charging multi-billion-dollar companies like Google, broadband providers have the option of charging their subscribers more to recoup the costs of the networks..."
