Microsoft warns of new Windows security issues
The flaw exists only in IE 5.01 with Service Pack 4 on Windows 2000 and IE 5.5 with Service Pack 2 on Windows ME

So basically there is no issue. Everyone is on IE 6sp1 anyway. These configurations to exploit are so rare that I'm going to be surprised if anyone even does get exploited with this. Not to mention that Microsoft will have a fix out for it soon so its no problem at all.

The important thing to remember here is that Microsoft is taking their security seriously by acknowledging and investigating these issues.
