Why?
Microsoft has historically only offered products for the Windows platform, Office and a few other smaller components being the minor exceptions. So how is it weird that they only support Windows?

Besides, think about it. Companies like McAfee and Symantec have their entire workforces to devote on antivirus so they have the flexibility to offer multiple solutions on multiple platforms. Microsoft, on the other hand, only has a few product teams to develop this software so they have to concentrate their resources. Given the much more limited manpower, doesn't it make sense that they would put out a Windows solution first? If successful, perhaps they WILL offer security for other platforms just as Office is now available on OSX. Though I wouldn't put money on that =P
