Now you are getting desperate
It isn't becoming of you.

Really? Where's the version of Windows that runs on my PPC iMac?

You are equating a hardware platform with a hardware company? Tsk tsk. Apple artificially places anti-competitive restrictions on what hardware OSX will run on. There is no technological reason why MacOSX, as it is written today, can't run on every single semi-recent x86 computer out there. While this would be beneficial to consumers, it would reduce Apple's profits and therefore will not be allowed. Besides, isn't it you who is always going on and on about how Windows can be run on your Mac through VM? Hmm, care to change your tune?

We want fewer companies able to interact with our software. That means restricting competition, end of story.

No, it doesn't at all. If they said we will limit the number of companies we license, that would be restricting competition. If the price is set at $100,000 and 1,000,000 companies decide to license it at that price, 1,000,000 companies will get licenses. Contrast that with Apple who say we will not license our DRM to anybody at all. I think your "Apple coloured glasses" are obstructing your vision! wink

just because Stalin killed more people than Charles Manson, that doesn't make Charlie into a saint.

Except that MS isn't killing anybody at all. They don't restrict what programs can run on their OS, they don't artificially restrict what hardware their OS will run on, and they will license their DRM to every company that is willing to pay the price. Your analogy doesn't work.
