But you guys always say it is bolted to the OS. He is wrong though, for nothing will make you guys happy.

Turn off ActiveX in IE and make sure file association is turned off on WMF extensions. Also use the patch that came out.

You cannot run anything but MS products on a Microsoft appliance. The Administrator at work locks it down so you do bring in software to get your company in trouble. You are suppose to be working.

Even if you have DRM hardware, you will be able to run OSS. DRM is to prevent data theft and control of the owners enviroment. DRM cannot ban OSS from running on non-MS hardware. Linux, Mozilla, FreeBSD will all run fine on DRM capable hardware. You need to provide a link stating otherwise.
