Who will you trust?
If Microsoft cannot even secure their OS, browser and mail programs, why would I trust them to sell me a security package?

Besides, they have so many other ways to make money ... would they work as hard at making this suite good as a company that only had a few products ... and had to make them good or go out of business.
If they would secure their OS software, the need for much of this 3rd party ... oh well. They are just not going to change.
