"Might these people be watched even MORE closely simply because they disagree and their progress in life hindered because they are "not part of the team"

Yes, because that has ALWAYS been how governments have treated their servants. Has there *EVER* been a time in history where "monitoring" hasn't been abused? What's funny is the ONLY spy programs I've heard about have been pretty much always abused. Perhaps that should give me, and us, all cause for concern.

"Say when one of these people go for a loan or a job interview?"

How bout this? When your "updated" driver's license broadcasts your exact whereabouts 24/7 to government and industry (and whoever else wants to buy your profile in order to blackmail/go after you), couple that with the "Patriot" Act enabling the FBI to break and enter your home without a warrant (and afterwards place a gag order on you legally barring you from disclosing their assault), the FBI will know the precise times you are away from your home (by tracking where you are via your GPS chip) and could be routinely breaking and entering your home, like your house is some ho they can bitchslap.
God bless America. happy
