Mr Ashcroft is looking for just this sort of solution. Loves this stuff to bits. It is in fact the sort of thing Americans have been baying for since the towers fell. So maybe you don;t understand Mr AShcroft's job description. But you will be interested to know that a number of US airports have been using this sort of technology (and specifically iris) for quite a few years now. Better get used to it - if you want to travel overseas, soon your finger, face or iris (or maybe all three) will be part of your travel regime. Might want to tune into your own news as well - how many travellers across the US border have been fingerprinted over the last few months? You might be surprised. And in the end it will not be limited to the "dodgy" types.
