soft .... yeah right

Tell that to the guy I just spent two hours on the phone with recovering files for customized import into access. It may not be hitting as hard as they thought it does but when it hits it REALLY hits. Oh and why was I able to recover these files at all? because the first smart thing that he did was back them all up to his server. First dumb thing he did? Clicked on a link (and I cannot believe he ADMITTED this to me) in an e mail advertising hot young college coeds. Second dumb thing he did? Left said system on network and guess whose whole network is as of now totally infected with this thing? Yup you got it. Oh the horror. His secretary is none too pleased that she lost half the files on her system already. I could hear her yelling in the background. MY ears are still ringing.
Did I also mention that he has NO firewall and said that his antivirus/internet security kept preventing him from going where he wanted to go and doing what he wanted to do so he TOOK IT OFF.
His IT department is going to be busy for awhile
