- Worms and Virus's RELEASE DATES
-
I have been reading several news letters not only from ZDnet and Cnet but from others as well and I also listen to national news and local news and what really amazes me is that there is a release date prior to the releasing of the virus and I am starting questioning who is actually releasing the DATE OF RELEASE of the virus.
Is it Microsoft or is it Norton or is it McAfee or who?
I have caught my fair share of virus's and had to reload the OS back into my computer several times and I had backed up my data as well as the virus too.
I have been trying out several alternate operating systems and plus different anti-virus programs and several adaware removers and none seem to do the job they claim they are to do and why should I keep paying for something that will not work against them anymore.
I have a machine with Linux on it and I don't run any anti-virus on it or adware or spyware programs on it because it so much more secured and it wiil ask me if I want run a program if anything attempts to run on it and I like that where Windows will not ask for your permission and it just installs whatever and then it is to late and then I have to reload windows again and spend about 2-3 hrs reloading what I had in before it went don on me which is very tiring having to do that every 6-8 months (if I am lucky).
Still I would like to Know who is releasing the date before the virus is released and why destroy someones files that may be precious to them (like photos and letters that have not printed yet) just for kicks while we have to spend big money to defend these things off when many people don't have the money to cover the cost of thier loss and lose precious files that may not be recovered again????????
Thank You for hearing me out.....Tjohnson230 - Posted by: tjohnson1954@... Posted on: 02/04/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
