Biometrics be da*ned!
Read that "darned" if you're sensitive. No way I'm going to give anyone my "biometric" data. No iris scan, no fingerprints...sorry. Enough is enough. The more "foolproof" these technologies supposedly are, the more highly they are regarded in courts. I'm not giving anyone biometric data if I can help it. There's too much risk for it being stolen or otherwise used against me.

"Yes, your honor, we have biometric data showing Mr. XYZ was at the scene."

It's bad enough with DNA. How long before that is manufactured to spec or replicated from a small sample you unwittingly left behind (somewhere neutral) in order to frame people?

Folks, this is not paranoia. It's about privacy. It's about what is considered "proof" in courts. And this is all going to open some serious loopholes. Twenty years ago, we thought it was paranoia that government/police could track vehicles position on highways and know where a vehicle was at all times. That is now just about here. Misuses of biometric data is no longer the stuff of dramatic tv.
