I have to agree. People are not going to stop using Microsoft products, nor should they. The bigger problem is, why should the feds have a secret backdoor that allows them to get into any system that they want to?
That just leaves the door WIDE OPEN for abuse: malicious prosecution of people with divergent viewpoints, etc.
Do not make system developers put in special backdoors for police or government agencies, and ALSO don't let them put in backdoors for their own use.
They have been raising the specter of child pornography and terrorism lately to spook people into thinking they need this, but let's face facts.
Acts of terrorism in our country are VERY few and far between, mostly because we go through the trouble of trying to keep releative peace with our neighbors.
Child pornography, easy way to solve that. Legalize and regulate it heavily, and give the children the right to decide what they want adults to do to them or not.
Also, SLAM any adult who beats, spanks or forcibly rapes a child, and put them in jail for a good long time. - Posted by: Leria Posted on: 02/01/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
