I am sorry you had trouble with OneCare. Were you running another firewall and/or Anti-virus? This seems to be the general issue for slowdowns and blue screens. There should be no more than 1 av and 1 firewall. This is across the industry. Since WOC does both, either select WOC or the other. Note firewalls insert somethng low level and more than one can confilt.

Did they send you a application to do a remove the left over things? Would you be willing to give it one more try? It seems odd that tech support would make you delete file by file.
