Formatting May Or May Not Remove Anything. Some Baddies Store Info On The First 64 KB Regardless. If They Have Found Their Way There, They Can Circumvent An OS Format. A Low Level Format Of That Region, By A Bootable Device, Will Remove All Baddies There. Check Your Disk Manufacturer For Any Utilities That They May Have. Further, BIOS CMOS May Have To Be Reflashed, If Possible. Baddies Can Hide There Also.
