Good Idea
They say if cost $87,000 per year to incarcerate prisoners in prison. That figure is estimated to go up quite significantly in the coming years too. But just using the 87,000 figure times 10 or 25 years adds up to almost 1 million to 2 million dollars just keep the guy locked up when he is not a danger to people, physically that is, as in not going to murder or rape. So the guy gets out at the age of 45 and what do you have? Not a usefull member of society that's for sure and he's probably got more crime skills. Seems kind of silly to me. I think giving $87,000 to a student for education would be more wise.
