Overlooking some basic points

You're all overlooking some basic points. This particular hijacker is ruthless and will slip right past Spybot S&D, AdAware, and even SpywareBlaster. In a perfect world, all computer users would be savvy enough to properly set their security settings, use the right OS, and arm themselves against this kind of attack. Unfortunately, a majority of users aren't perfect, they're novices and these are the people that companies like SpyWiper prey on. Put aside your computer knowledge for a sec and think how you'd feel if your 85 year old grandmother was attacked in this fashion and terrorized into purchasing the product, or how you'd feel if your 11 year old child was suddenly hijacked by them. SpyWiper will even disable the content advisor that some parents activate to protect their children while online. These hijacks also sometimes trigger pornographic popups when the victim attempts to close the original popups. There's a lot more to this story than what is written in this article.
