- YES PARLOR TRICKS!
-
I cant remember the HTML right off teh top of my head. It was somthing like FILE//c:\ and Internet Explorer would display a driectory of your C drive.
But only YOU could see it, it did not "READ" you drive or upload the contents onto the internet it just displayed a directory.
But add this in with all the standard information your browser gives (IP address, OS, browser version, last site visited, Etc.) do a whois on your IP to get your ISP. Now you can say "we know who you are, where you are, and what is on your harddrive".
All can be done with HTML no Java script no ActiveX, nothing.
Pretty scary, HUH?
