what you don't know can't hurt you
We here at Sony believe that if you don't really know what a rootkit is, then not only should you not care, but you shouldn't worry about disinfecting your PC. Afterall it will be costly and time consuming and if you didn't know about it before the news story, it obviously isn't bothering you. We take every effort to make our DRM as invisible as possible to the end user.
